What is AUALA Wellness & Spa
Auala Wellness & Spa is a place designed to reconnect with oneself through silence, water, and mindful care. Inspired by the natural surroundings of La Gomera and guided by sustainability, it combines nature, architecture, and calm to offer moments of disconnection, self-care, and balance. It is open to both guests and external visitors.
The name Auala comes from the ancient bay of Ávala, depicted in historical maps of the island. Its soft sound and design inspired by the waves of the sea evoke the fluidity of water, a symbol of renewal, balance and natural beauty.
This harmony reflects our commitment to daily well-being, with organic and sustainable cosmetics.

AUALA Wellness & Spa is located on the lowest floor of Bancal Hotel & Spa, in a dedicated area designed for privacy and tranquillity.

Hotel guests: You can reach the spa by taking any lift or staircase, where you’ll find the clearly signposted entrance.

External visitors: There is a direct entrance via an independent road on the side of the hotel, which leads straight to the spa entrance and to a convenient outdoor parking area for easy access.
This dual access, together with the nearby parking, ensures a smooth arrival for both hotel guests and visitors coming exclusively for treatments or the water circuit.
